    Position OverviewThe Director of Marketing and Creative serves as the leader of the Pensacola Ice Flyers marketing department and is responsible for driving fan engagement, attendance demand, brand growth, sponsorship activation, merchandise promotion, and campaign execution across the organization. This role owns the organization’s marketing strategy, creative direction, content operations, brand standards, and fan-facing communications. experience. The Director leads the marketing and creative team, establishes department priorities, manages campaign execution, and serves as the primary marketing representative within the organization’s leadership structure. While this is a leadership position, the Director is expected to remain actively involved in flagship campaigns, major creative initiatives, key sponsorship activations, and other high-visibility projects that define the Pensacola Ice Flyers brand. experience, and the department’s contribution to organizational growth. Marketing Leadership· Lead annual, seasonal, and event-based marketing strategy.· Develop campaigns supporting attendance, ticket sales, sponsorship, merchandise, and fan engagement goals.· Establish department priorities and allocate resources.· Monitor campaign performance and make strategic adjustments.· Represent marketing within organizational planning and leadership discussions. Brand and Creative Leadership· Serve as the primary steward of the Pensacola Ice Flyers brand. experiences, and merchandise launches.· Maintain brand standards, templates, design systems, and creative workflows.· Provide final review and approval of major creative deliverables. Campaign Strategy and Revenue Support· Support season ticket campaigns, renewals, group sales initiatives, and promotional efforts.· Partner with Sales and Merchandise leadership to support revenue objectives.· Align marketing initiatives with attendance, sponsorship, and merchandise goals. Content and Digital Media· Oversee social media, video production, website and mobile app content, email marketing, and digital communications.· Ensure content supports audience growth, engagement, and conversion objectives.· Review performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Department Leadership· Directly oversee marketing and creative staff.· Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.· Manage department workload, project prioritization, and resource allocation.· Lead weekly planning and creative review meetings. Sponsorship Marketing and Fulfillment· Own planning, coordination, and execution of sponsorship marketing deliverables.· Support activation concepts and sponsor integration opportunities.· Ensure sponsor assets are delivered on time and meet organizational standards.· Assist with sponsor recap and proof-of-performance reporting. Gameday Marketing and Creative Leadership· Serve as the marketing and creative lead for home game presentation. experience, sponsor execution, and presentation quality. Gameday Partnership StructureThe Director of Marketing and Creative and the Group Sales and Game Presentation Manager operate as equal partners on gameday. The Group Sales and Game Presentation Manager owns operational execution, run-of-show management, timing, staffing, and logistics. The Director of Marketing and Creative owns creative execution, content readiness, sponsor presentation, brand standards, and fan-facing marketing elements. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated experience in marketing, brand management, creative leadership, sports, entertainment, or a related industry. Strong understanding of marketing strategy, campaign development, content planning, and audience engagement. Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational, leadership, and project management abilities. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-informed decisions. Ability to commit to all Ice Flyers game days and special events, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays during the season. Preferred SkillsProfessional or collegiate sports experience. Experience leading creative teams or managing direct reports. Experience with sponsorship activation, fulfillment, and partner reporting. Experience with website management, mobile app content, email marketing, and social media platforms. Familiarity with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and marketing automation tools. Photography, videography, motion graphics, or graphic design experience. Passion for sports, live events, and fan engagement. Compensation & BenefitsSalaried, full-time position.
