POSITION SUMMARY:The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, professional services, stock control, supply orders, routine custodial, grounds and equipment for the facility. The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will also ensure a suitable working environment for the organization and provide appropriate performance measurements, and leadership. Additionally, the Facility Maintenance Coordinator will work with the events department on all event related set-ups and teardowns for facility events. This position has a special emphasis on technology, computerized systems, climbing and safety equipment, kitchen equipment, and sporting equipment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Managerial TasksSupervise and schedule maintenance and groundskeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage and productivityCoordinate with department heads to address maintenance needs and minimize disruption to operationsManage vendor relationships for contracted services, repairs, and supply ordersMaintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and safety documentationAssist in budgeting and tracking expenses related to facility and grounds upkeepAll other duties assigned by managementFacility MaintenancePerform and oversee repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systemsConduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with regulationsMonitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, restrooms, storage spaces, and staff facilities. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to urgent maintenance needsEnsure all systems meet safety and operational standardsGrounds MaintenanceSupervise and participate in the upkeep of outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, signage, and recreational spacesEnsure landscaping is maintained to a high standard, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and irrigationMonitor weather conditions and coordinate snow removal, storm prep, or debris cleanup as neededMaintain exterior lighting and signage for proper visibility and functionalityMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience in facility or maintenance coordination, preferably in a hospitality, sports, or recreational environmentStrong leadership and team coordination skillsWorking knowledge of building systems, equipment, tools, and OSHA safety standardsAbility to troubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenanceExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficient with maintenance software, work order systems, or Microsoft OfficeAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, in response to operational needsWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Will be required to lift 50 poundsWill be required to work in all weather conditionsWill be required to paint, clean equipment, and safely handle chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol formsWill be required to work in conditions that will create dirt and dustWill be required to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve but are not limited to the following activities: semi reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or back
