About the Organization:The Eau Claire Express begin their 21st year in the summer collegiate Northwoods League. experience long road trips and overnight stays, and play nightly in front of thousands of fans. The Eau Claire Express plays at Carson Park, located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The duties of the Ticket Sales intern include any or all of the following:Assist in directing box office sales at the downtown office and at Carson ParkOversee will-call ticketsProcess call-ins and walk-in ticket ordersStaff ticket window on each game nightCoordinate and execute group ticket/corporate outingsWork with marketing interns to organize all birthday outingsFollow up with groups coming to Carson Park to get final ticket counts and food/beverage choicesExhibit strong customer serviceTrack tasks and orders in the ticket/CRM systemMaintain a detailed list of follow-up callsData entry of information collected at gamesFollow up with every group outing leaderSoft sales phone callMake customer service phone calls to individual ticket buyersCreate new promotions and theme night ideas to promote ticket salesWork with marketing interns to create ticket packages around theme nightsCreate promo codes in the ticket systemAssist in overseeing season ticket, sponsor, host family, and 5-game package requestsBe the main contact for special requestsAssist in printing and distributing tickets prior to the seasonAssist with player and mascot appearances if necessaryOther duties as assignedRequired Skills and Qualifications:Pursuing a degree in Communications, Sports Management, Business, MarketingAbility to work well under pressure Great customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work within a team environmentStrong computer skillsOrganized, motivated, and able to work independentlyWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
