Job Description
Major League Baseball is looking for a passionate YouTube expert to lead our rapidly expanding YouTube original content operation.
Responsibilities Set the overall creative direction for original content series Bring a deep expertise in YouTube-specific content creation, algorithms, and analytics, and use that expertise to shape and evolve our creative process Partner with a team of editors to develop new content series and refine existing series Develop creative best practices that sets a creative standard for the platform - editing style, cadence, filming style, music etc.
Qualifications & Skills 10+ years experience in video and content production 10+ years experience of managing creative teams 5+ years experience making sports and/ or entertainment content Ability to submit a portfolio that demonstrates outstanding quality of past work Working knowledge of the technical aspects of the video production process including shooting, lighting, sound, and editing Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud – especially Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop A perspective on what makes baseball special Experience producing Spanish language content is a plus Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 (Base Salary) + Bonus As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
