Position Title: Communications & Broadcasting AssistantReports To: Director of Communications & Broadcasting and Communications ManagerPosition Term: February-SeptemberIntroduction: The Oklahoma City Comets are seeking a Communications & Broadcasting Assistant for the 2026 baseball season.
Qualifications:Previous baseball information experiencePrevious baseball broadcasting experience (if applicable)Strong baseball knowledgeStrong writing skills (AP style)Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and PhotoshopMust be available to work during all 75 home games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and during the team’s 75 road gamesCursory knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not requiredCompletion of bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fieldSalary & Compensation: Position is paid $15 per hour with a maximum of 40 hours per week, and the employee will be eligible for overtime.
