    Organization - Monterey Bay FCPosition SummaryThe Sponsorship Marketing & Activation lead is responsible for developing, managing, and executing all corporate partnership activations for Monterey Bay FC. experience, strengthen local partnerships, and support the club’s commercial objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesSponsorship Activation & FulfillmentPlan and execute all sponsor activations across matchday, digital, social, community, and experiential platformsOwn sponsor fulfillment, including signage, LED boards, PA reads, promotions, giveaways, and on-site executionsEnsure all partnership assets are delivered accurately and on time, in alignment with contract termsMatchday & Experiential MarketingLead matchday sponsorship activations at Cardinale Stadium, including fan zones, concourse activations, on-field elements, and premium hospitalityCoordinate with stadium operations, marketing, and game presentation teams to execute seamless sponsor integrationsSupport special events, theme nights, community appearances, and club-hosted activationsPartner Relationship ManagementServe as the day-to-day marketing and activation contact for corporate partnersBuild strong relationships with local, regional, and national sponsorsDevelop activation plans, creative concepts, and post-activation recap reports for partnersStrategy, Measurement & ReportingCollaborate with the club’s partnership sales team to support renewals and upsell opportunitiesTrack activation performance, fan engagement, and sponsor valuePrepare sponsorship recaps, insights, and recommendations to support partner retentionCollaboration & OperationsWork cross-functionally with marketing, content, community, ticketing, and operations teamsManage activation budgets, timelines, vendors, and promotional inventoryMaintain activation calendars, checklists, and best practicesQualifications3 to 6 years' Experience in sponsorship marketing, business, communications, sports management, or related fieldStrong understanding of soccer culture, supporter groups, and live event environmentsExperience executing matchday and experiential activationsHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent communication and relationship management skillsAbility to work nights, weekends, and matchdaysPreferred ExperienceExperience with a professional sports team or live event organizationFamiliarity with USL Championship or soccer-specific operationsExperience working with local and regional brand partnersKey CompetenciesSponsor-first mindsetCreative activation thinkingMatchday operations excellenceStrong communication and collaboration skillsCommunity-driven storytellingWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
