OverviewUnder the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper Crew Leader will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, coordination, and execution of the cleaning and clean-up activities at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex and all other of its venues and any assigned spaces. This position will remain open until August 7, 2026. ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day cleaning operations and coordinate assignments for the Housekeeping Team. Ensure housekeeping tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with instructions. Perform inspections of tasks performed by Housekeeping Team. Assist in training new team members on required tasks established by the department. Assist with supervision of full-time and part-time staff in the absence of Housekeeping Supervisor. Lead Housekeeping Team and participate in performing a wide variety of housekeeping task such as trash removal, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping, polishing, waxing, mopping, etc. Report unsatisfactory or dangerous situations that cannot be immediately corrected to appropriate authority. Perform all other duties as assigned. QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED. experience overseeing full-time and/or part-time staff. Must have working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment utilized in the housekeeping and maintenance of a public assembly facility. requirements while utilizing housekeeping equipment, cleaning supplies, and chemicals. skills. Ability to work varied hours, often including frequent nights, holidays, and weekends. This position requires lifting heavy objects as needed.
