    Job Description:About the OrganizationSouth Carolina Charities, Inc. (SCCI), the nonprofit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, was established to highlight the beauty and hospitality of Upstate South Carolina while hosting a premier charitable sporting event featuring professional athletes, world-renowned celebrities, and amateur participants. Since its inception in 2001, the tournament has raised and distributed more than $17 million to support local charities throughout the Upstate of SC. About the Event:The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX is the only event on the Korn Ferry Tour where amateurs and celebrities are paired with touring professionals in a three day better-ball competition played across two courses. Participants rotate between courses on Thursday and Friday, with a select group advancing to Saturday’s final round. Korn Ferry Tour professionals continue play through Sunday’s championship round. Position Summary:The Director of Charity, Volunteer & Office Administration is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing charity engagement, volunteer management, and administrative operations critical to the success of SCCI This position plays a central role in managing the charity program, administration functions, volunteer coordination, office operations, and cross-functional support activities that ensure the successful execution of tournament operations. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment and excels at building strong relationships with charities, volunteers, and community partners. Key Responsibilities:Charity & Community EngagementLead the planning, execution, and ongoing management of the Birdies for Charity program Recruit and onboard nonprofit organizations to participate in the program, ensuring alignment with SCCI’s mission and impact goals Serve as the primary point of contact for participating charities, building, and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships Coordinate regular meetings, communications, and training sessions with participating nonprofits Provide guidance, tools, and support to help charities maximize fundraising success Track, analyze, and report on program participation, fundraising results, and overall impact Collaborate with internal teams to integrate the charity program into tournament operations and community engagement efforts Support stewardship, recognition, and retention strategies for participating charitiesSponsorship & Administrative SupportSupport the sales efforts through preparation of contracts, invoices, and correspondenceMaintain accurate and up to date sponsor records, including agreements, deliverables, and payment trackingAssist in preparation of reports, updates and calendar invites for the SCCI Board of Directors Coordinate sponsor communications and administrative follow up as neededAssist in execution and tracking of sponsorship fulfillment to ensure all contractual obligations are metAccounting & Financial CoordinationCode and process sponsor and vendor invoices in coordination with external accounting partnersEnsure timely processing of payables, receivables, deposits, and check distributionWork closely with accounting partners on payables, receivables, deposits, and check distribution Monitor outstanding invoices and assist in collections and reconciliation effortsMaintain accurate financial tracking related to sponsorships, vendors, and event operationsSupport financial reporting and post-event reconciliation activitiesOffice & Operational SupportOversee daily office operations, including phones, visitors, mail, and general inquiriesManage credential ordering, tracking, and distribution for all tournament constituentsCoordinate scheduling, internal logistics, and administrative systems Oversee ordering, inventory, and distribution of staff, board, and committee uniforms and materials Volunteer ManagementLead all aspects of volunteer operations, including recruitment, registration, scheduling, and communicationsManage volunteer committees and tournament week staffing assignmentsPlan and execute volunteer orientation, training, and appreciation initiativesOversee inventory, distribution and collection of volunteer uniforms and materialsCommunications & Database ManagementMaintain and ensure accuracy of volunteer, charity, player, and ticketing databases and websites Manage email marketing and communications platforms (e. QualificationsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database/email platforms (Constant Contact preferred) Experience in event operations, nonprofit administration, sponsorship management, accounting coordination, or similar field strongly preferredWillingness to work flexible hours during peak event periods, including evenings and weekends as needed Employment StatusThis is an at-will position with South Carolina Charities, Inc.
