Club Field Hockey Coach

Koa Sports is looking for a Club/Development Field Hockey Coach. Field hockey is one of our most popular programs,and is continuously growing and expanding. Field hockey is conducted year round with numerousopportunities to coach players at different ages and skill levels. Koa offers club/development field hockey from U8-U19. Koa Sports is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, whose purpose is to Shape Kid's Lives ThroughSports. We are looking for dedicated coaches who are able to adequately lead and to help guide ourkids both on and off the playing field. We believe that coaching kids to become standouts in theirrespective sports, as well as to be well-rounded and successful people in life, are equally importantaspects of Koa's overall mission. At Koa, we pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for ourplayers and their families. We also provide training for coaches that have not had previous trainingsessions. Club/ Development Field Hockey Coach duties and responsibilities:Coach 1-2 practices/week. Practices are 1.5 hours in lengthCoach the team at 3-4 Tournaments per season (Fall, Winter, Spring)Create practice plansEmbody Koa's 4 Core Values: Positive, Fun, Dedicated, Team FirstBe an all-star communicator. Be responsible and take pride in shaping children's lives. Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone. Experience: High School/College playing experience required.
