The Hillsboro Hops are seeking energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Broadcast Production Team as Camera Operators for the MiLB streaming broadcast. This is a great opportunity for students, aspiring sports broadcasters, videographers, or anyone looking to gain hands-on live sports production experience in a fast-paced professional environment. Position OverviewCamera Operators play a key role in delivering a high-quality live broadcast experience for fans watching Hops baseball on the MiLB streaming platform. Operators will work as part of a collaborative production crew during all home games and select special events at the ballpark. ResponsibilitiesOperate broadcast cameras during live baseball games and stadium eventsFollow direction from the broadcast producer/director during live productionsCapture game action, crowd shots, player reactions, and sponsored elementsMaintain focus, framing, and shot composition throughout broadcastsAssist with setup and breakdown of broadcast equipment when neededCommunicate effectively with fellow crew members in a live-event environmentRepresent the organization professionally while working in and around the ballparkQualificationsInterest in sports broadcasting, video production, or live event productionStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamAbility to stay focused and react quickly in a live production settingDependable, punctual, and professionalComfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball seasonPrevious camera or production experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidatesSchedule/CompensationSeasonal, part-time positionMost shifts occur during evenings and weekends aligned with Hops home gamesAvailability throughout the baseball season is strongly preferredShifts start approximately 2 hours prior to first pitchCompensation DOE, starting at $100/gameWhat You’ll GainHands-on experience in live sports broadcastingOpportunity to work in a professional baseball environmentExperience with live camera operation and production workflowsNetworking opportunities within sports and entertainment productionCandidates' resumes will be reviewed once submitted to the site.
