We are seeking a Full-Time Lead Hitting Coach to join our team of dedicated, forward-thinking professionals. Position SummaryThe Full-Time Lead Hitting Coach will lead the execution and continuous improvement of R&D Baseball’s hitting department and player development system, under a shared vision between the Director of Hitting and the candidate. experience within our hitting department and play a key leadership role in shaping athlete outcomes. The coach will execute daily in-house and virtual sessions for athletes ranging from high school to professional levels. Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and support small-group training sessions. Program comprehensive hitting plans. Enforce high standards of player commitment. Cultivate a competitive and constructive training environment. Operate and manage R&D Baseball’s technology tools and systems. Utilize R&D Baseball’s internal data pipelines to support decision-making. Foster and maintain strong relationships with athletes and staff. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate industry-leading insights into training sessions. Minimum QualificationsExperience playing and/or coaching baseball at the collegiate or professional level. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to personal and professional development. Background in strength and conditioning (coursework, certifications, and/or coaching experience). Preferred QualificationsData proficiency. Psychology background is a plus. Additional Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods and lift/move objects up to 100 lbs. Ability to demonstrate exercises and throw batting practice. Ability to work regular partial weekends and in seasonal conditions.
