Position SummaryThe Toronto Sceptres are seeking a Director, Hockey Operations & Team Services who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and operational excellence to support our players, coaches, and hockey operations staff.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage and communicate training and travel itineraries for all players and staff, including air travel, transportation, accommodations, meals, and logisticsAccompany the team on all road trips, overseeing transportation, accommodations, and meal logistics to ensure seamless operationsServe as primary contact for travel agencies and vendors, troubleshooting issues and identifying proactive solutionsTrack player and staff expenses and per diem for road games; submit accurate team expense reports in a timely mannerPlan and execute pre- and post-training and game day meals, ensuring proper delivery and setup for players and staffImplement Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) provisions related to travel, relocation, training services, and player appearancesManage transition and relocation of new players, including housing arrangements, travel, and transition servicesOrganize administrative and immigration paperwork including visas, passports, insurance, and legal/medical documentationCollaborate with team dietician on appropriate meals, snacks, and supplements Develop comprehensive welcome packages for visiting teams with venue details, local information, and logisticsPlan and execute team-related events during season and off-seasonCoordinate with coaching staff to create and distribute team schedules for practices, games, and meetingsOversee special team events, promotional activities, and sponsor functions in collaboration with business operationsManage team-related purchases within budget and handle billing, budgeting follow-ups, and payment inquiriesMaintain cleanliness and organization of team and player spacesSupport player and staff complimentary ticket requests for home and away gamesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in hockey operations management or team services roleKnowledge of performance needs for professional athletesKnowledge of game day operations, including team and ice-level requirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDIntrinsically motivated self-starter with excellent standards of professionalism when interacting with athletesProven ability to handle sensitive information with discretionDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsExtremely organized and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to travel with the team throughout the season, including attending all games, practices, and required eventsPreferred QualificationsProfessional hockey experienceBachelor's degreeExperience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements and implementing CBA provisionsBudget management experience in sports operations environmentFlexibility & TravelThis role requires full-time travel with the team throughout the season, including all road games. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule with irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
