Position Overview:The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Associate to drive revenue growth with a primary focus on Youth & Amateur Hockey sales.

Youth Hockey sales will center around creating memorable team and organization nights, fundraising opportunities, pre/post-game ice time experiences, and mites on ice experience. While hockey-related sales will be the major focus, this role will also be responsible for broader ticket and hospitality initiatives across all Phantoms ticket sales opportunities.
Primary Duties: Youth Hockey Revenue Strategy Develop and execute hockey specific FEP’s (Fan Experience Packages)Generate revenue through team/organization nights, fundraising programs, Mites on Ice experiences, and pre/post-game ice time opportunities at PPL Center.
Create customized game night experiences tailored specifically to youth hockey teams, organizations, and leagues.
Identify and build opportunities for bulk ticket sales tied to tournaments and local hockey events.
Community & Association DevelopmentEstablish strong, long-term relationships with youth hockey coaches, hockey directors, association presidents, rink managers, and board members.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and the youth hockey community throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding markets.
Attend association board meetings, tournaments, clinics, tryouts, and local rink events to build brand presence and generate sales opportunities.
Create grassroots engagement strategies that connect youth players and families to the Phantoms game experience.
Position Phantoms game nights as a development, team-building, and fundraising platform for local hockey organizations. Sales Execution & PerformanceProspect, pitch, and close new business through outbound calls, networking, rink visits, in-person presentations, and relationship-based selling.
Maintain a minimum of 50 outbound touchpoints per day with a focus on driving revenue.
Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals.
Support renewal campaigns to retain and grow existing youth hockey and other non-hockey group accounts.
Maintain detailed CRM records to track pipeline development.
Collaborate with the Ticket Sales team to share best practices and elevate overall department performance.
Game Day & Event PresenceRun all Youth/Amateur hockey experiences on game days including pregame ice time experience. Maintain a visible and professional presence at all Phantoms home games.
Host youth teams and associations on game nights, ensuring a first-class experience.
Utilize game nights to prospect, service current clients, generate referrals, and close new business.
Coordinate and execute youth hockey activations on game nights. Represent the organization at community events, rink activations, and hockey networking opportunities. Ideal Candidate Profile Highly motivated, competitive, and goal oriented. Played or has been actively involved with organized Youth/Amateur Hockey.
Comfortable with outbound sales activity and performance metrics.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
