Event Operations Internship – Fall 2026

MetLife Stadium | East Rutherford, NJ Unpaid | Academic Credit Optional | In-Person | Part-Time (2 days/week + events)About the Internship: MetLife Stadium — home to the New York Giants and New York Jets — is offering an exciting Event Operations Internship for Fall 2026. This unpaid opportunity is open to students who will be enrolled as college juniors or seniors by September 2026, as well as post-graduate students, interested in sports and entertainment operations. Internship Dates:September 2026 through end of football season(Minimum of 2 days per week + scheduled stadium events)What You’ll Learn:This internship will provide hands-on experience with large-scale event planning and execution at a world-class venue.s Responsibilities:Interns will work closely with the Event Operations Team and interact with a variety of internal departments. Duties include (but are not limited to):Assist with pre- and post-event setup and breakdownCollaborate with departments such as Ticketing, Guest Services, Fleet Operations, Site Operations, Field Operations, and WarehouseSupport sponsor activations, promotions, and in-event logisticsShadow staff on event days to understand operational workflowsLearn how event plans are developed, implemented, and reviewedObserve vendor/contractor coordination during live eventsAssist with general administrative and event-related tasks as neededWhat We're Looking For:Be enrolled as a college junior or senior by September 2026, or be a post-graduate student. Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentClear communication skills (verbal and written)Prior experience in a professional setting preferredInterest in sports, live events, or facility operationsProven ability to develop and maintain professional relationshipsWillingness to follow stadium policies and proceduresSchedule:This internship includes weekday office hours (2 days/week minimum) plus stadium events, which may occur on evenings, weekends, and holidays. A work schedule will be shared at least one week in advance.
