    Job Description

    Background:Corpus Christi FC is one of the newest professional soccer teams in USL League One. However, we are not new to the city. We are building a club that represents our community and building a team on the field they can be proud. Corpus Christi's family values are reflected within our team and our front office. That's what allows us to make a positive impact on the Coastal Bend and be a premier destination for entertainment. Corpus Christi FC is offering college credit to prospective college students to get hands-on learning within a professional soccer club. responsibilities on game day, serve as a social media coordinator and perfect their writing abilities. This is an onsite position, and the individual is required to be in Corpus Christi or around the Coastal Bend. The internship is available for the Spring beginning in March and for the Summer season. You must be in Corpus Christi or able to commute to Corpus Christi. Position SummaryIn this position, the individual will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in:Assisting the primary media contacts Assisting in the operation of the organization's social media accountsAssisting in the creation of digital content to be used by other departmentsAssisting in the storytelling and outbound marketing Assist in fielding incoming media inquiriesWorking closely with players, coaches, and front-office leadership to raise the profile of the club and its playersPrimary DutiesDevelopment, writing, editing, and distribution of a variety of club media materials, including match notes, fact sheets, pitches, player bios, and moreFacilitating player media opportunities at training and games and maintaining an organized schedule of those activitiesAssist in the media-credential processCreate and capture compelling video content ranging from behind-the-scenes access at training to 1-on-1 player interviewsServe as a press box liaisonSupport public relations strategies, marketing campaigns, and new club initiatives in a cross-functional capacity that includes collaboration with Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Ticketing, and Operations Executing gameday media operationsAttend all first-team home games, potential playoff games and attend team training sessionsActively contribute in meetings as a member of the creative teamMaintain confidentialityOther duties as assigned.
