Promotions & Game Operations InternshipJob Description: The Asheville Tourists are seeking internship candidates to assist with all aspects of the organization. about sport management. Responsibilities include:Assist all staff members with daily activities & projects. Assist with mascot and player appearances off-site. Help with execution of on-field promotions and other activities during games. Assist with daily promotions setupManagement and execution of grass roots marketing plansAssist with supervision of merchandise operations. Price, re-stock and organize merchandise store daily. Assist with sending out weekly online merchandise orders. Help with daily upkeep of ballpark. Dress up as mascot when needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:Must be willing to work long hours including holidays, weekends and weeknights. Must be able to pay close attention to detail. Must be willing to get his or her hands dirty. Basic computer skills, including ability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Must have completed at least two (2) years of college credits and working toward a degree. Must be able to receive college credit for the internship. This internship runs from March till September.
