The Director of Operations coordinates cross-functional teams, manages event logistics, and oversees facility operations to support a wide range of events, including conventions, concerts, and outdoor programming. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverseeing all aspects of venue operations, including Engineering, Building & Grounds, Technical Services, Event Services (including ADA compliance), Public Safety, Security, Custodial, and Parking. requirements and operational plans. Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. experience will be considered. Skills and Abilities Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners. Proven ability to supervise staff and support team performance. Strong customer service and problem-solving mindset. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with facility management or maintenance systems (CMMS) preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
