ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Director of Academy and Professional Development, the Senior Academy Head Coach will be responsible for developing and mentoring academy players in a senior academy age group ensuring their transition through the ‘pro pathway’. RESPONSIBILITIES Coaching the senior academy team in accordance with the Union methodology, game model, technical standards, vision, values and philosophy. Responsible for the management and coaching of the senior academy team during training sessions and games. Develop and prepare the players for elite professional (first-team) soccer.t QUALIFICATIONSUSSF A license, or equivalent. Proven knowledge of the American soccer system. Effective and efficient communicatorProven knowledge and experience of player transition strategies. experience of developing young athletes at an elite level.
