OverviewThe Audio Visual Coordinator is responsible for assistance with installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for TD Coliseum technology functions on a day-to-day basis as well as providing support for event-specific A/V needs.
Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching. This position will remain open until September 11, 2026.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the teams responsible for the installation and maintenance of onsite hardware and software, including workstations, multimedia displays, and video conference system supportHelp manage the systems and technologies that support A/V technology for the venue and business (Device Management, etc.
responsibilities as assignedQualifications1-2+ years of experience in an Audio/Visual role preferably in the events and sports/entertainment industryDemonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 tools and Office suiteDemonstrated experience with A/V integration software and the hardware it relies onExperience with TriplePlay software and Daktronics displays is preferableProficiency with MacOS and Windows operating systems, hardware, and peripheralsProficiency with Client–Server infrastructure and on-site supportBasic understanding of networking protocols and troubleshootingAbility to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environmentOrganize and prioritize work to meet deadlinesEffectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentMust be detail-oriented and possess excellent follow-through skillsExcellent documentation and process skillsPossess knowledge and experience in industry terminology, event-related services, facility capabilities, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facilityAbility to work independently, exercising judgment and initiativeThe ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgroundsThe ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy objectsMust be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentialityAbility to read and understand building drawings, event plans, and operational diagrams
