    Job Description

    Position Title: Operations InternLocation: ForeFront Field – Avon, OhioTerm: Summer Internship (May–August)Compensation: Unpaid – College Credit Only Hourly compensation available for some game-day roles. About ForeFront Field ForeFront Field is a premier multi-use sports and entertainment venue in Avon, Ohio. Overview The Stadium Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience in both the planning and execution of events at a busy sports and entertainment venue. Responsibilities Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing events including baseball, soccer, concerts, carnivals, MMA, boxing, and special events Support game-day operations Assist with setup and teardown for all events Help prepare and maintain playing surfaces, seating areas, locker rooms, and common areas Assist with signage, field markings, equipment placement, and event logistics Support staff with crowd flow, basic guest services, and operational needs Monitor facility cleanliness and safety during events Perform general facility maintenance tasks as assigned Work closely with the Stadium Operations team to ensure smooth event execution Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic credit Interest in sports management, event operations, facility management, or a related field Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule Willingness to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working outdoors Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Schedule & Commitment Internship runs from May through August Hours vary based on event schedule (including nights and weekends) Must be available for a majority of Lake Erie Crushers home games and key summer events What You’ll Gain Real-world experience in stadium and event operations Exposure to professional sports, concerts, and live entertainment events Opportunity to work alongside experienced venue and event operations professionals Academic credit in coordination with your college or university Professional development and networking opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
