    Job Description

    Title: Sport Growth ManagerReporting To: Director of Sport GrowthLocation: Remote - Midwest, preferably based in Indianapolis, IN supporting growth efforts throughout the Midwest. Salary Range: $58,000-$64,000 | Full-time Position Summary:Under the direction of the Director of Sport Growth, the Sport Growth Manager provides dedicated administrative and customer support to USA Water Polo’s member clubs, coaches, referees, athletes and zone administration, with an emphasis on growing the sport on all levels regionally and throughout the country. Responsibilities:Sport Growth:Facilitate new club development including club registration and new coach/club admin onboarding and education. Work with and develop long term programming with facilities to bring new clubs and events to areas of growth. Provide and development programs/tools for zones, clubs, club admins, and coaches focused on Sport Growth within a club, region, and zone. Administer and support national Sport Growth programming such as Try Water Polo, Splashball, New Club on boarding, and Grant Programs. Event SupportAssist the Events Department with the planning and execution of high-performance and national events, on an as-needed basis. Support event setup, including tents, banners, inflatable pool courses, promotional materials and other tasks as assigned. Transport supplies and equipment to events (ability to drive a full-size commercial van, U-Haul, or mini-truck required). Membership Services & Database SupportMaintain membership-related portions of the USA Water Polo website. Assist with database integrity and reporting. Respond to member service requests via phone, email, live chat, and Zendesk, providing information, troubleshooting, and resolving inquiries related to USA Water Polo’s database, events, products, and services. Other DutiesTake on special projects and other assignments as directed. Collaborate across departments to ensure excellent member and event experiences. Qualifications:RequiredExperience in growing athletic programs, multi-sport organizations programming, etc. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in event setup/teardown environments. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to travel to events nationwide, as needed. PreferredWater polo experience as a coach, club admin, and/or referee. Current USA Water Polo Member in good standing with updated background check, SafeSport and CPR/First Aid certification. Bilingual or multilingual (English/Spanish preferred). Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to implement new ideas.
