Location: University of WisconsinEmployment Type: Part Time (contractor)Pay: starting at $28 per hourStart Date: ASAPWorking Hours: Game Day minus 1 and Game Day - Hours vary depending on sport delivery What the Job is All About:As part of the Hawk-Eye team, you will be working on-site at Big Ten Conference Football stadiums, helping to deliver cutting-edge technology services at live games. We would like you to be able to commit to all of the home games for the season. Responsibilities:Assisting in the set-up of the SMART replay & medical systems (both hardware and software)Conducting pre-game checks of the systems in accordance with standard proceduresCoordinating with officials, broadcasters and Hawk-Eye staff, both on-site and remotelyMonitoring and maintaining the technology during the gamesMaintaining our hardware and equipment throughout the seasonPeriodic work during the off-season for building and maintaining our hardware and equipmentAssisting with any installation and testing of new products and services Skills:Ideally a broadcast/engineering background with an understanding of signal flowStrong technical groundingProactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiativeTime management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environmentAbility to communicate with clients and customers in a professional and approachable mannerExcellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAcceptance that the nature of our business means that work will be carried out over weekends/federal holidays Benefits:A high-autonomy role with real exposure to the forefront of the sports officiating and broadcasting world.
